The final show of Art Hearts Fashion marked the end of New York Fashion Week, featuring a fascinating mix of couture, ready-to-wear and street style fashion.
7 Crash kicked off the 7 pm fashion show with their ready-to-wear collection which included a modern mix of geometric prints and sleek, tailored jackets and suits. Rosy prints on a bright blue pop art pattern was a main highlight of the collection.
House of Byfield
House of Byfield, on the other hand, showcased her “Safari” collection that features bold artistic strokes of terracotta and African red on the beautifully tailored suits for men and women. She also introduced a line of stylish leather bags and clutches that compliments every outfit.
Closing off the 7 pm show was designer Mimi Tran, with her gorgeous dresses and evening wear inspired by the 1920s. Her dresses, intricately decorated with gold sequins, floral appliqués and lace fabrics that would make every woman feel like a princess the moment she put it on.
Hallie Sara started the 9 pm showcase with an elegant line of dresses and tailored pantsuits. Luxurious furs and leather, silk and suede in dark shades of burgundy, violet, brown and black are on-trend with the fall season.
Altaf Maaneshia‘s latest collection “Magic of Woman,” emphasises women’s power and confidence with structured silhouettes, high shoulders and narrow waists. His ingenious use of colour-blocking, mixing colours and textures make his collection so beautiful to watch.
Mister Triple X by Erik Rosete
Mister Triple X by Erik Rosete, the founder of Art Hearts Fashion himself showcased his “Creation X” collection. His high street collection featured an eclectic mix of Adam and Eve printed jackets, bold floral and graphic prints, shiny silver and gold fabrics and chain mail dresses. His signature accessories of metal and leather body chain add a rebellious edge to every outfit and set him apart as a designer to watch out for.
Rocky Gathercole ended the show with a golden age of avant-garde designs inspired by Greek and Roman mythology. He dazzled the audience with seductive gold embellished bodysuits, metallic bustiers, fringe details and extravagant headpieces. His finale dress was a show-stopper, a full-length lace gown complete with an elaborate golden Phoenix inspired headpiece and wings. All models looked like the characters on the set of a fantasy film.
Art Hearts Fashion this Fall/Winter 2016 season was another incredible fashion event that introduced some of the most talented and artistically inspired designers in the industry. Every designer expressed their unique style with passion and finesse. It has attracted a bevy of stars including singer Jason Derulo, Scout Willis, Daphne Joy, Olivia Pierson and many more. NFL player Rodney McLeod, Brittany Fogarty of VH1’s Mob Wives, Transgender Super Models Carmen Carrera and Yasmine walked in the shows. That was incredible to see a huge turnout of talents, artists and designers coming together for a wonderful cause to support the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
